How We Handle This

Affiliate revenue is kept out of editorial decisions. We do not sell placements, we do not sort recommendations by payout, and criticism is not withheld because a product happens to be monetised. Where an assessment is based on research rather than testing, that is stated.

The Short Version

Restedlook earns partly through affiliate programmes, including Amazon Associates. Certain links on restedlook.com carry a tracking tag; if a purchase follows, the retailer pays us a percentage. That commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not out of your pocket — you pay exactly the same price.

Practically speaking, the products we write about are what our affiliate links point to.

Restedlook is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
